OEM variants of WHBSA resistors are also offered.<\/p>\n<p> The WHBSA series of resistors incorporate a fully-welded steel tank and feature an IP65-rated connection box for protection. They use either freshwater or a water\/glycol mixture as the cooling fluid. The tank and connection box are constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, while AISI 321 stainless steel is employed for the resistor elements.<\/p>\n<p> The power ratings for WHBSA resistors are categorized into braking power and heating power.<\/p>\n<p> Braking power signifies the load that the resistor can withstand during a 12-minute downhill test, assuming one such load cycle occurs daily at most. The braking power ratings for WHBSA resistors span from 19 to 253 kW.<\/p>\n<p> These resistors can also be used to condition the vehicle, such as pre-heating the driver and passenger compartments while the vehicles are parked at the bus garage, without drawing energy from the battery. The heating power ratings for WHBSA resistors range from 9 to 119 kW.<\/p>\n<p> WHBSA resistors operate at a peak working voltage of 1000 VAC and come with a standard PT1000 temperature sensor.
