Insights into the future of innovative energy technology
Join Astrolkwx and morEnergy at the Power Electronics & Energy Storage event 2025 to explore the latest in energy technology. This annual gathering is essential for professionals focused on advancements in power electronics and energy storage. It offers a platform for experts in the energy industry, electronics developers, systems integrators, and regulatory specialists to gain insights and network within this evolving field.
Digital Twin Module demonstration
At our booth, we will present our new Digital Twin Module, which seamlessly integrates with our ONIS platform and the Measurement Center. In this demonstration, we will showcase the Digital Twin of a measured PV park. This simulated PV park consists of multiple Digital Twins of individual inverters and a grid impedance model.

We will demonstrate how instability issues can arise when additional inverter strings are connected or during topology changes, all analyzed through simulation models generated from real measurements. To highlight the importance and impact of our Digital Twin approach, we will perform a live grid impedance measurement at the booth. Using our new Digital Twin Module, we will then automatically generate a Digital Twin of that measurement and integrate it into the PV park simulation in real time. This will allow us to showcase the direct impact of the new model within the simulation environment.
With this approach, we can demonstrate the entire process—from measurement to simulation and analysis—in a single, practical session.

morEnergy about grid Impedance Measurement as a key parameter for good Power Quality and stable Grid Operation
Grid impedance measurement is crucial for effectively managing, maintaining, and enhancing the performance of electrical grids. It plays a vital role in ensuring a reliable and high-quality supply of electricity to consumers and industries alike. In his presentation, Christoph Klie, Electrical Engineer at morEnergy delves into the methodologies employed for measuring grid impedance and super harmonics across low- and medium-voltage grids. These measurements are pivotal for comprehensive power grid simulations using the morEnergy Digital Twin.
Power quality + Impedance measurement enables digital twin modelling and grid simulation”
Moreover, Christoph explores how assessing power quality contributes significantly to optimizing and stabilizing grids, thereby bolstering overall grid performance and resilience. His insights highlight the intersection of measurement technologies with advanced simulation tools, fostering greater efficiency and reliability in electrical grid operations.
About Christoph Klie

During his work, he connected with the SuSy project partner morEnergy because of a strong overlap in interests, peaked in Christoph becoming fist a part-time member of morEnergy in 2024, and since then full-time member starting in early 2025. With new inputs and resources from morEnergy, his doctorate degree is expected to be finalized in late 2025.
