Features and benefits

CCR resistors, boasting a power range of 140 W to 1045 W, find versatile applications. They possess UL certification, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The housings employ aluminum due to its non-corrosive, non-magnetic, non-sparking, lightweight, and durable nature, along with its excellent heat-conducting properties. These resistors are fully insulated with no exposed live components. Their resistive element incorporates a Nickel-Chrome alloy, characterized by minimal thermal drift. Mica insulation enhances their dielectric strength.

UL working voltages stand at 600 VAC / 850 VDC, with overload factors ranging from 7 to 15 times the nominal power rating over a 5-second pulse/120s, depending on resistance. CCR resistors also feature IP54/IP65 protection ratings.

For overtemperature signaling, an optional thermal switch is available. OEM resistor versions can be provided upon request.

Danotherm CCH resistors primarily serve as DC-link charging/discharging components and brake resistors in small inverter drives.
