All our steel grid resistors utilize steel grid plates, which are assembled into steel grid blocks. The choice of steel and alloy varies based on customer requirements. The grids undergo manufacturing processes using punching and laser-cutting machines before being assembled into resistor blocks. Steel grid resistors are suitable for high-voltage and low-voltage applications. While requirements may differ, minor customization allows standard Danotherm steel grid resistors to be applied in most situations.
Danotherm steel grid resistors are characterized by their compactness, reliability, and robustness, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The working voltages for CGC-LV and LAGC-LV series resistors are 1000 VAC / 1400 VDC, with power ratings ranging from 3 to 120 kW.
For grid systems with voltages between 6 and 36 kV, neutral earthing resistors are available, with a standard protection rating of IP23. IP55 rated resistors can also be provided upon request.
Filter resistors are designed for grid systems with voltages ranging from 12 to 72.5 kV, with standard protection ratings ranging from IP00 to IP23.
Danotherm steel grid resistors employ convection cooling. They are commonly used in various industrial applications, such as filter and brake resistors, gas and wind turbines, and railway applications.
