Available Options
Balancing Switch
This option functions as a pre-charge circuit to prevent high inrush currents when the breaker is closed. An additional IGBT-resistor circuit equalizes the voltage on both sides of the breaker before closing (switch-on), ensuring a controlled and reliable energization.
Fan Module
This option includes long-life fans that efficiently cool the breaker’s busbars and power connections. It is available exclusively for the water-cooled versions.
Selectivity / Zone Protection
This proven option enables microsecond-fast coordination between multiple breakers through optical communication. It includes dedicated hardware and software integrated into each breaker and configured to meet the requirements of the specific system architecture. Selectivity and zone protection are achieved through autonomous coordination between the breakers, without requiring signals or intervention from the overall system controller.
Mechanical Disconnector
An optional mechanical disconnector can be integrated into each breaker to provide galvanic isolation.
