Air cooled rectifiers from Littelfuse / IXYS

High power stacks air cooled rectifiers from Littelfuse combine and coordinate the operations of diodes, IGBTs, surge protective devices, and fuses. Each sealed and fan- or water-cooled semiconductor assembly contains at least two diodes and two insulated-gate bipolar transistors. Depending on their components and configurations, the power stacks can serve as single-phase, three-phase, or six-phase bridge rectifiers.

You can choose the types of overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection you require. Schedule a speed date to discuss fully custom-built solutions.

A modular solution

A range of Westack & Westack Lite Assembly modules can either incorporate single or dual devices and allow the building of:

  • Single phase diode and thyristor bridges
  • Three phase diode and thyristor bridges
  • Six phase diode and thyristor bridges

Together with littelfuse we can provide custom built assemblies. Cooling for each module section is provided by the use of a low noise 115/230 V ac fan which is protected against overloading by an integral thermal cut-out.

Surge suppression and fusing provides reliable and safe operation. Surge suppression (protecting the devices from voltage transients) and high speed fuses (protection against short-circuits) are available.
